Ikpisan Community in Delta State Ostracized Son for Being a Gay

The family of late Chief Ogbanghankomi, has ostracized their son Jolomisan Ogbanahankomi for openly declaring his gay status against the customs and tradition of Ikpisan Community which forbids and detest Gay and Lesbianism as abomination.

Declaring him personal-no-grata, the head of Chief Ogbanghankomi families told our reporter that Jolomisan Ogbanghankomi has committed sacrilege and he therefore stands disown, disinherited from his Late father estate, adding that because of the taboo he committed his name would no longer be bore by any member of the Ikpisan Community.
According to the Chairman of Ikpisan Community Development Union ( ICDU) Mr. Samson Gowari, he said that if not that the young man ran out of the community he would have being sacrificed to the gods to cleans the community of  the effect of the taboo, stressing that instead of having a Gay as a son, they would prefer him dead.
Information reaching Urhobo Times is that the youths from Ikpisan Community are hunting for Jolomisan and he could be killed to assuage the gods who they claim are angry and it is only the blood of Jolomisan that can avert their anger.
However the where about of the young man is unknown as at times of filing this report.
