The woman identified as Rachel insisted that she was married to the groom. The incident occurred at the Pentecostal Church last Saturday where Dube and Judith Chimukombe were expected to exchange vows. The marriage was expected to be solemnised by Reverend Sydney Matekwe when the jilted woman and a troupe of sympathetic relatives stormed the premises.

She told Reverend Matekwe that Dube had visited her in Marondera the previous year and the two had spent the night together.
Dube allegedly admitted to spending the night with Rachel.
"On the fateful Saturday we were at his house at Number 26 Nyanga Drive ready to chauffeur him to the venue when Mr Siduna whisked him away for a crisis meeting in response to what Rachel was saying.
"The woman maintained her stance in his presence that she was still married to him and they had slept together a few days before the wedding," sources said.
Reverend Matekwe called off the wedding insisting that Dube, who is employed by the church, puts his house in order.
Sources said the Assembly secretary general Mr Benson Matare announced the cancellation to guests and church members.
Rev Matekwe referred questions to Dube.
Dube, who was not co-operative, accused Rachel of messing up everything.
He insisted that he was done with Rachel and no amount of pressure would force him to take her back.
"She is my ex-wife and that would not change. I even have documentary evidence to prove that I am married to Judith and we have one child. Rachel is my ex-wife.
"The family house she is staying in Marondera should not be misconstrued to mean that we are still together.
"She is staying there with the permission from my family notably my mothers so that she can take care of our two children because there was the feeling that the children need to have a roof over their head despite her differences," he said.
Dube said he has two children with Rachel - one in Grade Four and a four-year-old.
He accused Rachel of cheating on him with several men.
Well-placed sources said Dube had two wives.
They said Rachel had the support of Dube's family, which explains why stays at the Marondera family house. Dube's mother, who is based outside Zimbabwe, the sources said, was looking after Rachel and the family in Marondera.
Dube reportedly confessed visiting Rachel the previous week, the sources said.
Another church member said Dube, who was in 2007 engaged as the church accounts clerk, was under pressure to wed and save his job.
The wedding was to serve as proof of conformity to terms of employment, they alleged.
