We learn you are now a make-up artiste. How did you find yourself in this field?

I’ve been doing this for a long time. I don’t have an office yet because I do a lot of things, so I really want to be sure of what I want to open an office for. The bridal make-up comes up almost every weekend. From one job, I get another job and I get another job from that one. Bridal make-up has been very okay.

Reports reaching us has it that 2Face's babymama, Pero Adeniyi has been delivered of a baby boy in the United States of America.

L*sbianism is one practice that is fast becoming a sexual habit among most of Nigerian celebrities who now go all out to woo their targets with mouth watering luxury gifts.

In Nollywood, certain movie stars now form cliques bound together by their sexual preference.

It may shock you to know that the main harbingers of the game are the A-Lists stars, particularly the single and divorced babes.

Staying unmarried and of mature years can subject a woman to investigation about her sexual preference.

Top actress Susan Peters was recently accused of being a lesbian.But she opens up in a recent interview on the allegation.

She said I am not a lesbian. I have never practised lesbianism. People who know me know that Susan Peters is not a lesbian. Maybe the speculation was because of my masculine structure. I am masculine because I used to do games a lot before. I played basketball, ran, played golf but I stopped at some point because I was growing muscles. If I go back into gym now, I will develop those muscles but I am not gay. People should stop tagging me as gay. I love the other sex, I don’t like gay. I have female friends but I have more of male friends. I have a boyfriend not boyfriends.

But I have male friends because I prefer male friends much to female friends because they are more comfortable to be with. I am not saying I don’t like my female friends. I have female friends but I love more of male friends. So, people should stop saying I am gay, I am a full fledged straight woman.

When asked, It is believed that actresses sleep with producers before they become famous. How is it with you;she said For me, I have not experienced that so I can’t say. My roles have been based on auditions and recommendations. Anybody who has said any other thing about Susan Peters is lying because my roles have been based on hard work and recommendation from may be people I have worked with before, or friends.

Basically, that is how I have grown to this level.

Ebube Nwagbo has proven to be one of the most talented actresses in Nollywood. She is fair and beautiful and ever since her entry into the industry she has introduced a fresh wave of youthful innocence, professionalism and quality acting that instantly made her one of the female actress that Nollywood producers trip for.

Her big break came about nine years ago in 2003 when she featured in Arrested by Love, alongside top-flight actors like Pete Edochie and Jim Iyke.And since then she has virtually been on a roller coaster. In a recent interview, the Mass Communication and Public Administration graduate of Federal Polytechnic Oko, opens up on some of the controversies that have trailed her since she became an actress and other isuues. Sometimes, I wish I wasn’t a celebrity.

Most of the times, you are monitored by members of the public. Many people are quick to judge you and they believe everything they hear or read about you. They believe actresses are not nice people. You live your life for the public. You have no privacy and your life becomes public business.

It is not fun all the time. I guess that is the price you pay for being in the limelight. There is always a price tag. Sometimes when I hear and read things about me, I feel like going crazy. But I have learnt to always put on a smile and take them with a pinch of salt. It is not easy for people to appreciate you and admire what you do. Take for instance, the story of how I went to church to pray and fast because of a man.

 I was born into a very strict Christian home, those who know me can attest to this. So I was brought up to go to church and do the things of God. I went to church on a Sunday, like every other person, and offered to do something for God. But some people blew it up into a silly story. It is a thing of the past now and it has not stopped me from helping or giving to the church or to the needy. That is the way I was brought up. I enjoy doing it and I will never stop.

I thank God for all the people who have stood by me and believed in me, despite all the bad press I have endured. When asked,about her relationship with Kingsley of KC Presh;she said I have no regrets for not marrying Kingsley. We are both happy people living our lives separately and we are still very good friends.

Even relationships that are not in the public eye break up, let alone what we both had. It is the nature of our jobs. On marriage, I won’t tell you who I am dating at present. As a young lady, marriage should be on my agenda. But it is not top priority right now. I shall get married when I am ready for it.

Call her Nollywood’s most daring actress and you won’t be fined! That’s because this light skinned vulnerable actress has carved a nitche for herself with her daring roles in movies.

The movie scene was sent into fury late last year when she unleashed her new antics of baring it all movies and even going as far as kissing and romancing in a very flirtatious manner. Right now she has been tagged Nollywood’s bad actress as a result of her incessant sex roles in movies but that has no doubt earned her more fans.

However,she admits she is only being a professional actress and doesn’t see those roles as any big deal. She is obviously taking the stakes higher while the courageous ones are tagging along. In a recent interview, the controversial actress opens up on marriage plans and other issues. I think irrespective of your profession you can keep a healthy relationship or marriage.

Being a star does not limit the happiness you get from them, it depends on the way you carry it or handle it. But if you ask me, I would tell you, it contributes a lot to a large percentage of broken home, because you are famous, and probably the person is not famous. Maybe because she stays out late, because of her work, she travels so much, all these can actually bring strains to the marriage or relationship. Like I would always say, marriage is an institution where you have to learn, you have to sacrifice to do a lot of things.

 You have to come to an agreement with your partner. But all the same, you can be a celebrity and have a healthy marriage. For now, I have no plans for marriage, I just concentrate on my work, do the best that I can do and make myself happy, along the line, that could come in, for now, it is not what I am looking forward to. Talking about having a child early, I just see a lot of my friends these days and they have kids and the kids are almost half their heights, strolling and shopping together, it is a cute idea, but that is not a mistake, and it is just the only thing I just regret.

 It doesn’t mean I am scared, not being ready is not being scared. I wish I have one (baby), so I could stroll with the baby right now. When asked, What do you think is the cause of breakups of Nollywood marriages;she said Lack of good communication and commitment are what kills a relationship. You need good talking relationship and understanding.

At the end of the day, that is one thing, good communication, if I cannot relate to you and you cannot relate with me, if I cannot pass my message to you, if I cannot tell you the reason I have to go and shoot, and if you cannot give me a good reason I cannot go and shoot, then things won’t be easy. So, I feel communication is like a rope that ties two people in a relationship.

How Marketers Banned Tchidi Chikere Over Adulter Scander

Unknown to many,the popular ban handed out to about 10 Nollywood practitioners five years ago by the Film and Video Marketers Association Idumota Lagos had moral connotations.

While actresses like Omotola Jalade Ekeinde,Genevieve Nnaji,top actors Richard Mofe Damijo(RMD), Kenneth Okonkwo and others were banned for charging excessive artiste fees at that time,only one director cum producer was on the list.

That was Tchidi Chikere.

Sources at Idumota Video Marketers Association told us last week following the story of a crash in the Mbaise Imo State born actor’s marriage,that the great Awka Assembly of the marketers,banned Tchidi alongside other top players on the allegation that he was too close to some married actresses and that it was bringing Nollywood into disrepute.

Our source said that Tchidi’s ban was the only one not explained to the public at the time due to its peculiar circumstances.

This story is however coming over five years later following the crash of Tchidi’s marriage to his beautiful wife,Sophia.

Nollywood Stars, Pawpaw, Laide Bakare, Others In Prison For Lamboginny

It was a unusual atmosphere yesterday, Friday, March 23 at the Ikoyi Prison when top Nigerian celebrities stormed the premises of Ikoyi Prison located inside Nigeria Prison Service, Ikoyi, Lagos.

A rowdy but joyous shout rented the air as each of the celebs breezed in. Osita Iheme, who is well known as Pawpaw, one half of Aki, turned the prison premises into something else when he came in.

 About 30 inmates were freed yesterday with the support of Nigerian singer, Lamboginny, who is a prison warden, and some of his friends in an event tagged Freedom For Helpless Inmates. The high point of the event was when the freed inmates were called and re-integrated into the society by the celebs. An un-freed inmate identified as Nokia, who is a fuji artiste got a recording contract deal courtesy Dede Mabiaku.

He also promised to provide the prisoners good toilet facilities, change and provide their mattresses, plates, and also visit them regularly to make life meaningful to them. Top celebs at the event were Pawpaw, Denrele Edun, Laide Bakare, Karen Igho, Deji Bakare (Mr Nigeria 2011), Dede Mabiaku, Kaffy and many others.
